The little blue pillwill soon be available for sale on the streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico, in a new effort to boost men's sexual health. The little blue pill, known as Viagra, will be sold at pharmacies in San Juan, San Francisco and San Jose.
Men can now take the blue pill at their own discretion. The prescription will be sent to a pharmacy where it will be taken, said San Juan Mayor Rufino Jiménez.
“It will be sold to the public at a discount,” he said. “The only thing that will be sold is Viagra.”
Viagra is sold as a generic version of Viagra, which is the same drug used to treat erectile dysfunction. It is sold at the drugstore.com.com, and it’s available on prescription at pharmacies.com.
“The blue pill is really an innovative idea for men who are in a relationship or in relationships,” said Jiménez, who was involved in the plan to develop the drug in the United States in the 1990s. “It’s a great product that’s working to change the way we think about sex.”
The plan calls for a pill dubbed “The Little Blue Pill,” a name for the drug that has been in the prescription supply since it was introduced in 1998. Jiménez said he and his team have been trying to find a method to help men feel more confident and less anxious about their sex lives. In fact, he said, there are no studies that have looked into the effectiveness of Viagra in men. “I don’t think the studies we are seeing are good enough,” he said.
In one study, Viagra participants received a pill that was made up of blue pills, which contained one of the medications used to treat erectile dysfunction.
The pill was taken one hour before sex, and it was taken by mouth. It worked very well, and some men experienced erections for several hours.
Men taking Viagra for erectile dysfunction were able to get a stronger erection at a much lower rate than they had before using the pill.
“We were looking for something that would work for those men who didn’t suffer from erectile dysfunction,” Jiménez said.
“The problem with that is that they are so sensitive. There are so many things that are going to cause your penis to become more sensitive, so you are going to feel a little bit of pressure.”
Jiménez said that his approach was to try the pill before sexual intercourse.
“We were trying to make it seem like there was more desire for sex, or to take that into consideration,” he said.
It was then that he noticed a difference in his erection rates, particularly in the first three to four hours after taking the pill.
